Three bathroom renovations & more

I cannot speak highly enough about Michael O’Brien Construction! They have renovated 3 bathrooms for me, top to bottom, installed hardwood and tile floors, and completed some outdoor projects for me, as well. Michael and his son, Mike, are trustworthy, reliable and meticulous in their work, right down to the cleanup of the work site at the end of each day. When they start a project, you can count on them being there every day until the job is complete.

Customer for almost 20 years

Since 2000, the Gillis’ have entrusted Michael O’Brien Construction to design and build our living room addition, remodel our kitchen, finish our basement, and most recently build an amazing master bathroom and closet. Since our first contact with Michael O’Brien Construction Co. about thirty years ago, they have been the only ones we called whenever any project, large or small, was being planned. The quality of Michael’s work pleased us so much that no one else has ever been considered.

Among the many jobs Michael and his crew have done for us are: (1) new fireplace mantel and built-in bookcases filling one wall in the living room; (2) complete breezeway rebuild (new windows and doors, tile floor, pine paneling, etc.); (3) complete bathroom rebuild (walls, floor, ceiling, large tiled shower stall, all fixtures, etc.); (4) replacement of all red cedar shingle siding; (5) installation of replacement double-pane windows throughout the house; and (6) many smaller, but essential jobs. The quality of Michael’s work has been mentioned by sharp-eyed visitors and still gives us pleasure when we notice it anew during quiet moments.

Attention to detail

We can not say enough good things about Michael O'Brien Construction. Every job he has ever done for us has been done perfectly...with his attention to detail. We always felt as though our happiness with the project was his number one priority. He is a pleasure to work with and his jobs are always done on time if not earlier that expected. One Saturday morning he even shoveled our walk way to get to our house to finish up a project. You will never find a neater, more reliable, experienced contractor that will not leave the job until the customer is happy!
